1. Tarot for the City: The Los Angeles Times invited me to do a three-card tarot reading for the City of LA to help navigate its transformation.
2. Latinx Art History: The writer and academic Arlene Dávila included me in her book, Latinx Art: Artists, Markets, and Politics (Duke University Press), as an essential artist that everyone should know.
3. Indigenous Futurity: I contributed a spell to an anthology by contemporary witches, focusing on emerging machine consciousness and the deep significance of weaving Indigenous origin stories into its development.
4. Borders & Belonging: I recently made a series of videos documenting my journey of obtaining dual citizenship (US & Mexico) as a child of Mexican-born parents living in Los Angeles.
5. Navigating the MFA: Are you interested in applying for an MFA in Art? I have two helpful videos: one about my journey to UC Berkeley’s competitive Art Practice program and my experience there, and another showing the exact portfolio that secured my interview.
